Who You Are:

Teton Ridge is searching for an experienced and highly motivated Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations for our dynamic Sports division. This critical role ensures flawless financial reporting, maintains strict regulatory compliance, and provides essential support for financial strategy. We are looking for a self-starter with a proven background in public accounting who is passionate about driving process efficiencies and able to apply sophisticated critical thinking to elevate the entire accounting function. What You'll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for the Sports division, including generating financial statements, posting journal entries, general ledger.
  • Manage month-end and year-end consolidation close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support ERP and financial system upgrades or implementations.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to support company goals and decision-making.
 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in public accounting.
  • CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable operating independently as part of a multi-entity Accounting function. 
 

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in the Sports industry.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in our office in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
